Are products cruelty-free?

Yes. Our products are never tested on animals and we ensure that our ingredient suppliers never test on animals either.

Are products vegan?

Yes, all Sister & Co products are vegan.

Are all products natural and organic?

Yes - the majority of our products are created with certified organic ingredients sourced from abundant natural resources. 

Our products do not contain parabens, artificial fragrance, artificial dyes, mineral oil, phthalates, polyethylene glycol (PEGs), SLS, SLES, silicones or siloxanes.

Is the packaging recyclable?

Yes. We package our products in glass and aluminium, the most easily and commonly recycled materials. But we encourage upcycling – our bottles and jars make sweet vases, oil bottles, hair clip holders, spice jars, & more! As far as we can, we use recyclable dispensers. Currently, plastic pumps are non-recyclable, so we encourage you to place your initial order for a 'with pump' variation, and then re-order with a screw top plastic cap. You can then re-use your pump and recycle your cap.

Unusually for brands in our category we have chosen to box our products in plain outers made from recycled FSC approved brown cardboard. Pretty outer packaging is lovely, but it so often goes straight in the bin, so we see it as a waste of resources. It also means we would need to pass the cost on to you. 

We ship our products in fully recyclable materials and our mailing boxes are made from 100% recycled card. 

I’ve got really sensitive skin. Can I use your products?

Are products are formulated for all skin types however it is always a good idea to test any new product on a small patch of skin before using it liberally. If any undesirable effect occurs, stop using immediately & consult a medical professional.

Can I use Sister & Co. products in pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

There are some essential oils that should be avoided during pregnancy but our products contain essential oils at levels compliant with EU Regulation 1223/2009, meaning that qualified safety assessors have deemed finished products entirely safe for use for all consumers - including women who are wishing to become pregnant, pregnant women and breastfeeding women.

If you have any concerns around using essential oils during pregnancy, please consult your midwife or medical professional before using our products.

How much is shipping?

UK: Free 48 hour tracked shipping for orders £50 and over | £3.95 for orders under £50 (48 hour tracked service). All shipping timescales are applicable to working days only and subject to Royal Mail operations so cannot be guaranteed. 

EU: £10 standard shipping

USA: £15 standard shipping 

Please be aware that customs duties on international orders may also apply and are payable by the customer.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship to most countries.

EU: Free standard shipping for orders £70 and over | £10 for orders under £70

US: £17 standard shipping 

Rest of World: £17 standard shipping.

Please be aware that customs duties may also apply and will be charged to you by your national tax authorities when the products arrive. Note: orders to the US under $800 do not currently incur customs duties.

Can I order by phone?

We do everything online, so you can only place orders through our site. If you want to get in touch about anything else, we respond super-quick to emails or Instagram DMs. Just give us a shout on info@sisterandcompany.co.uk or via Instagram DM (@sisterandcobotanicals).

How do I check on my order?

We’ll email you a confirmation as soon as you’ve placed your order. Then, once it’s been despatched, we’ll email you with a link to your tracking info.

What’s your returns policy?

Non Faulty Products: 

We want you to be happy with every purchase you make with us.

If for any reason you aren't completely satisfied or you change your mind, you may return any product for a full refund or replacement (as appropriate) within 30 days of receipt of your order. Please send us an email at info@sisterandcompany.co.uk and we will advise on how to make the return.

We recommend that you return products via Registered Post. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit and therefore we advise you insure your parcel. We will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit. A refund or replacement can only be issued once goods are physically received at Sister & Co. HQ. 

Faulty Products:

If your package is visibly damaged on delivery, please tell the person delivering your goods that you wish to sign as 'received damaged'.

If your goods are received as faulty or damaged once opened please contact us at info@sisterandcompany.co.uk with 48 hours of receiving your order.

Please note that we may require images of any damages for our records.
